Project Highlights
$0 Budget Studio
Our Comms team had no studio, and no budget to build one.
I found an old extra room piled high with furniture and old unused items, and by selling the contents and cleaning it out created a small budget and space that became our studio.
I raised a $1,000 in a few weeks, and the studio was done just before COVID hit in 2020.
Total Visual Rebrand
At BridgeChurch I led a total rebrand from start to finish, overseeing everything from the logo and brand design process, to building a new website, updating all signage, and launching our new style and standards into all our digital spaces.

Audience Based Marketing
I’ve led a wide variety of digital campaigns, paid and organic, to promote events, launch new content, and grow community engagement.
My successes have been built on understanding and advocating for our audience by meeting their needs, not just ours.
Designs on Time
In two different roles I have created a system for graphic design so that projects are completed on time and my teams were never without the assets their events and promotions required.
I worked extra hard to make the process painless and easy to track.

About Me
My name is Andrew Oceans Reed and I’ve been working in Marketing and Communications largely for non-profits for 7+ years. Communications is a generalist role so I know a little about everything in Communications and a lot about a few areas in particular. I have lived all over the US and grew up in Tanzania, finally settling down in Kansas City with my wife and daughter.
I care deeply about making an impact, so I lean towards non-profit work, but not exclusively. I’ve run things solo, built and led teams of volunteers, with big budgets and no budgets. I can thrive in most circumstances and I learn very quickly.
